Have you ever wondered about the world inside of a snowflake? What exists inside the twinkle of a wistful eye? Exploring these realms was the task of Jeff Crawford and Daniel Goans as they embarked upon their first project, Christmas, under the name of The Nervous Gregorians. The two met many years ago, and have collaborated as production partners, working on records for others over the past decade, sharing a passion for mid-century light music, hospitality, and merry-making. Naturally, Christmas was an easy jumping-off point for them as they considered what their own music would sound like, as Christmas is filled with all these things. And so, The Nervous Gregorians invite you to sit down on the sumptuous velvet bench seat and strap in for their sonic answer to a yuletide-themed journey complete with elaborate scene changes and plenteous snowfall. Cookies and hot buttered rum not included but strongly encouraged. Please enjoy and Merry Christmas, to one and all.
